Some Aspects of God are too awesome to comprehend. For many students, the Holy Spirit is one of those aspects. In this 6-week series, we will help students understand who the Holy Spirit is and what His presence in their life signifies. More importantly, the series will help students see how the Spirit impacts their lives.

Week 2 – Who is the Holy Spirit (Part 2)
The Holy Spirit is God at work on earth. Jesus said it would be better for us to have the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is poured out on all people, filling the hearts of God’s children with His love and confirming their identity as part of His family.

Next Steps . . .
As you go through this week with your student(s), look for instances to create some dialogue based on the theme of this lesson. Consider discussing the following questions or concepts:

Ask: In your own words, who is the Holy Spirit?
Read: Romans 8:15-16, Galatians 5:22-23, & 1 Corinthians 12:7-11
Ask: What does the Holy Spirit Do?
Ask: Have you ever heard of, or had any experiences with God’s supernatural gifts?
Discuss: What are some reasons a person would want to be filled with the HS?
