Living a Spirit-Inspired Life
Paul’s words in Galatians teach us that the Spirit’s presence in our lives will turn out certain “fruit.”. Paul seems to imply that we play some role in how vividly, or effectively, these fruits are illustrated.

Next Steps . . .
As you go through this week with your student(s), look for instances to create some dialogue based on the theme of this lesson. Consider discussing the following questions or concepts:

Read: Galatians 5:16-18
Ask: What do you think it looks like to “live by the Spirit”?
Ask: What might it look like to live to “gratify the desires of the flesh”?
Read: Galatians 5:24-25
Ask: What do you think it means to “crucify the flesh” (some translations say, “crucify the sinful nature”)?
Discuss: What does it mean a to a high schooler or middle school student to “live by the Spirit?”
