Although the word “cantata” is not used often, it is a musical form that has been around for since the 1700’s. The word means to tell a story through music.

Christmas Joy, Schweitzer’s cantata, will tell the story of Jesus’ birth through music during worship services this Sunday, December 17. Chancel Choir and guest orchestra will lead us in celebrating Christmas with the hope and joy it brings to our lives today. Please join us at 8:20, 9:40 or 11:00 as we worship the Newborn King.

Pastor Jason and Tim Smith will be joining the praise team in Modern Worship this Sunday at 11:00am and 5:00pm in the Outreach Center with the Message “The God Who Builds.”
