I am looking forward to this Sunday’s message we’re calling Stages in the Life of Faith. We’ll walk through the diagram (below) designed by Janet Hagberg and Robert Guelich which offers helpful descriptions of the journey of faith.
The upcoming Spiritual Life Retreat will focus on the stages of faith.
If you are new to Schweitzer, and have questions about Jesus, the church, or would like to know how to get better connected, join me, this Sunday, at 12:00 noon in Memorial Hall. We will feed you great bbq, offer you a tour of the campus and get you headed home by 1:30. Childcare is available. To sign up, email Pastor Jim at email@example.com.

THE DAILY TEXT
Our pray.study.grow daily devotional resource has enjoyed a great run at Schweitzer as members and staff have contributed to its work for over ten years. Beginning the week of February 19, we will be utilizing THE DAILY TEXT, a resource of Seedbed. All those who currently receive pray.study.grow electronically will begin to receive THE DAILY TEXT without interruption. No paper materials will be issued so if you currently are not receiving electronically pray.study.grow, please go to sumc.co/news/pray-study-grow to subscribe. I have personally found THE DAILY TEXT provides five minutes of devotion which stimulates my thinking as well as helps center me in my relationship with Christ. I encourage you to use this new rich resource and look forward to hearing your thoughts about it.
Join us, March 3-4, for this global gathering of women across denominations, generations, and cultures – as we come together in the name of Jesus. For more information and to sign up, visit sumc.co/ifgathering.
Opportunities abound at Schweitzer to get connected with others and grow in our relationships with God. We all get spiritually stuck at times. We don’t always want to put forth the effort to do something about it. At other times, we are truly at a loss of what to do. We’ll talk about it Sunday. In the meantime, consider this: What’s your plan of action to move forward in your spiritual life?
Enjoy the sunshine! We’ll see you in worship!
