Greetings Friends,

We are in the middle of fall with the leaves descending to the ground and the Royals representing in the World Series. A shout out to all you Royals Fans.
This week our journey through the book of Jonah is coming to a close. Many of you have had an opportunity to be a part of a Jonah Group. We’d love to hear stories from your group experience. You can reply to this email and share your stories with us.

Last evening the Schweitzer Kids and Youth ministries both had unique celebrations of Halloween. Check out some of their pictures http://sumc.co/halloween-party-gallery.

We want to thank all of the servants who put on the Fall Festival last Saturday. It was great to see the gym and classrooms full with kids and families from the community, Grow To Know, and the church in a great event. A big thanks to Dawn Thompson and Jane Roebke and their team for planning and producing a great event.

This Sunday there are a number of things to keep in mind:
2015 Daylite ends
Daylight savings time ends – rejoice in your opportunity to gain an extra hour of sleep.
2015 Bass Pro
The Bass Pro marathon is happening. There will be a lot of runners on the roads around Schweitzer.
Grateful Heart Group
A new class, Grateful Heart, begins its six week experience this Sunday, led by LaDonna Greiner in the Library @ 9:40. Cost of the class is $17 (includes book and 10 note cards). If you’d like to be a part of the class, email Jeff Fugitt, jfugitt@sumc.co.
2015 the blessing
We start a new sermon series this Sunday, Experience The Blessing. This week, Pastor Bob will share with us on The Gift of Faith. We will be celebrating All Saints Day and remembering those from Schweitzer who have gone to be with the Lord.

Psalm 116:12-15
What shall I return to the Lord for all his goodness to me?
I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the Lord.
I will fulfill my vows to the Lord in the presence of all his people.
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants.

We count it a joy to serve the Lord alongside of you. We look forward to Sunday when we celebrate all that God has done and is doing. Have a great day!
