We are excited to give all Schweitzer youth (and any friends) an opportunity to unplug from the chaos of their lives and take them on a weekend retreat to Discovery Ministries in Eminence, Missouri. At Discovery Ministries students can experience the adrenaline rush that comes from experiencing challenge while growing in their faith. The staff at Discovery Ministries will introduce our students to adventure while guiding them toward Jesus!

Ronald McDonald Family Dinner Service Project
On Sunday, February 26, and Sunday, March 26, the SUMC Youth will be providing the family dinner at the Ronald McDonald House. Many of the parents and other family members staying at the Ronald McDonald House do not have the time to prepare adequate meals because it is additional time that they will be away from their sick child or infant. The dinners that we will provide will allow families to relax and enjoy an evening meal at the Ronald McDonald House. In addition to providing and serving the meal, we can eat with the families and offer fellowship and support to these families.
To make these meals possibles for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House, we are in need for volunteers to help in the preparation of the meals and/or donation of food for the meals. We will also need students and parents to volunteer to serve the meals and be in fellowship with the families at the Ronald McDonald House the nights we provide our meals.
