Reflectors.

Read Ephesians 5:8-14 and Psalm 89:15.

I love the moon. I love the bright white glow floating in the sea of night. I love staring right in its face without blinking. The sun will blind me, but without it, the moon would be only part of the darkness.
Like the moon, I cannot produce light. I find that I cannot discern even my own motivations. I need the Light! We need the Light! Only Christ can reveal our true intentions, purify them at our yielding, and transform our lives into reflections of his own. We cannot pretend to give light. Either Christ shines in and through us, or we are a part of the darkness. Let us allow him to expose what lies in the crevices of our lives, to clean and heal us. Then we will reflect the Light of the Son.
