Keep Calm And Stay True.

Read Acts 19:32-41; Acts 20:1.

The city clerk quieted the crowd and cautioned against acting rashly. This is a wonderful piece of advice, even for us. It is our job as Christians to peacefully assemble, be open minded, and take other viewpoints into consideration before acting, in both personal and public matters. Be careful not to let your emotions super charge you and make you say things that you will later regret. Our words should be calm and composed. Often times our passion can cause blindness and irrational responses. As Christians we should act in compassion, love, and peace. We have to remember to not be disorderly or hasty. What are you doing to put love first in your interactions with those who see things differently than you? Are you seeking to understand before reacting?
