Helped By A God We Can Trust.
Read Acts 26:19-32.
Paul had seen and felt danger. He had known the determined malice of the Jewish leaders, and their efforts to take his life. While Paul kept himself out of some dangers and occasionally others helped him, his safety ultimately was from God. It was not by any power of his own that he had been preserved; it was because God had interposed and rescued him. Those who have been delivered from danger, if they understand fully, will delight to credit it all to God. They will recognize his hand, and will feel that whatever wisdom they may have had, or however others might have helped, ultimately this also is to be traced to the superintending providence of God.
