Read 1 Peter 1:13-15.

How do you feel about commitment? What are you and I committed to? Maybe we’re dedicated to our jobs, friends, or favorite sports team. Maybe we pledge allegiance to our country. As people of faith in the triune God, how devoted are we to growing and deepening this relationship? Are we “all in” or is the quality of the relationship fading. We are to be holy, set apart, distinctive with hope in the living Christ. God is seeking covenant, a committed relationship with us. God is “all in.” His goodness and grace, His promises stand firm. There are times in our lives when it is important for us to remember and reaffirm our promises, vows, priorities—what is most important. Let’s renew our love, our purpose and meaning found in God. Covenant is not a business contract, rather, it’s a means of grace by which we accept the relationship God offers and then seek to sustain with vitality. Have your way with us, Lord, we’re all in!
