Helping Others.

Read Galatians 2:20.

20I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me

Many people and organizations desire to do good deeds. Various organizations strive to educate children, end homelessness, feed the hungry, provide medical care, and end slavery, just to name a few. There are also many reasons people desire to help others. Paul gives a motivation and reason for Christians to help people. As Christians, we desire to live and act like Jesus because we share in Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection. Christ in us gives us hope that we wish to share with others. What injustice concerns you? Which cause aligns with your passion? None of us can help all people. All of us can help someone. Let the hope that you have through faith in Jesus serve as your motivation to do something good for someone today!

27To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory
