Wisdom and Peace From Above.

Read James 3:17-18.

17But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. 18Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.

One of the ways to attain structure, order, and sanity in our lives and in a community of believers, is to recognize from where wisdom and peace come. God is the author of wisdom, pure and real wisdom, says James in the Bible. We can adopt the idea that, while we are writers in our life, God is the author. He is in control. His gifts of wisdom and peace are available to everyone who accepts Him into their lives, but that connects with how we conduct ourselves toward others. Those who use God’s wonderful gifts of peace and wisdom, produce peace in others’ lives as well. Do you rely only on yourself to create wisdom and peace in your life, or do you recognize that it is God’s gift of wisdom and peace that can change your life?

22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
