God’s New Things.

Read 2 Corinthians 5:17-21.

We are created in God’s image and re-created in Christ. By God’s grace and mercies, our lives are changed. Being ambassadors, we represent Christ to the world. Each day we have an opportunity to make a difference in the world. Every day, and even on our really bad days, God is faithful. Based upon the Lamentations reading, Thomas Chisholm (1866-1960) wrote the hymn “Great is thy Faithfulness” in 1923. With a difficult life complicated by health issues, Chisholm related that he must not fail to give thanks for the unfailing faithfulness of a covenant-keeping God. How are you using your God-given gifts to bring about the Kingdom of God – sharing the new life in Christ? Is there something new for you to do?
