Jake Hotchkiss

Director of Young Adults
Jake was born in Sioux Falls, SD and graduated high school at Hickman High in Columbia, MO. He came to Springfield his freshman year of college to attend Missouri State University, where he met his wife, Kayla, and got his degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. After working in logistics, and then briefly as a salesperson at a local television station, he felt a call to pastoral ministry. He is currently enrolled at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY, taking online classes and pursuing a Masters of Divinity.

In his free time, Jake likes to read (mostly Christian literature), socialize with friends and family, and believe it or not, he loves to make disciples! Preaching, teaching, and leading small groups were passions of his long before working at Schweitzer — now he just gets paid to do it. Needless to say, he loves his job.
