Schweitzer UMCNews

Add to the beauty of the sanctuary this Christmas by giving a poinsettia in honor or memory of a loved one. Drop your card in the offering bag on Sunday mornings or contact Mary Beth, by December 17. Cards are located in the pews. The cost is $12.

“Gloria” is a celebration of Jesus’ birth through music. We will rejoice in God’s promise to send His Son Jesus so that we may have eternal life. Join the celebration with Schweitzer Chancel Choir and orchestra on this Sunday, Dec. 16 at the 8:20, 9:40, or 11:00 worship in the Sanctuary. Glory to God in the Highest!

Modern Christmas Eve

Held in the Outreach Center, these two services are for those who want a modern twist to traditional Christmas Eve services.

Everyone’s invited, Christmas sweaters and PJs are welcome—and encouraged—and the whole service will take about an hour. There will be carols, a message, some video elements, candle-lighting and lots of fun!

Service Times: Dec. 23rd at 5:00pm | Dec. 24th at 10:00am

Family Christmas Eve

Held in the Sanctuary, this service was designed with children and families in mind! All of our services are kid-friendly, but especially this one. We’ll have puppets, videos stories, hymns and carols, a message from Pastor Bob, communion and more for the whole family to enjoy.

SERVICE TIMES: Dec. 24th at 4:00pm

Traditional Christmas Eve

Held in the Sanctuary, this service is an essential part of how we celebrate Christmas. There will be carols, a choir, a message, communion and candle-lighting.

SERVICE TIMES: Dec. 24th at 6:00pm & 8:00pm
