Schweitzer UMCNews

On Saturday, December 7, over 125 women gathered in Memorial Hall to enjoy a Christmas Tea to benefit Harmony House. The celebration included great food, beautiful decorations, a silent auction, and wonderful fellowship! As a result of this event, over $3000 will be donated to Harmony House, a shelter that provides safe and secure emergency housing to families escaping domestic violence. We have fun AND we do God’s work – all at the same time! Thanks for your support!

Thanks to your generosity, our church family collected 515 toys to donate to the Christmas Toy Store at Crosslines!  The Toy Store will take place on Saturday, December 21, and your donations will put a smile on many children this Christmas morning.  Thank you!

One of our largest Sunday School classes, Home Builders, enjoyed music, food, and Christmas conversation recently. This class of 40+ members was also entertained with a concert by Isaac Kenneth and luncheon food by Maggie Mae’s from Miller, MO.

This Christmas Eve, we invite you to join us as we celebrate the hope and peace born into our world. Come and celebrate the miracle of the Christ child. The miracle that says to us: God is with you! Click here for more information.
