52 Stories

All of us have unique interactions with God, stories of God showing up in our lives. In these 52 Stories, people connected to Schweitzer share how God is present and transforming in their lives. In watching, may you be inspired in Hope, encouraged in Faith, and active in sharing your story of God’s presence in your life.

“Quit praying ‘my will be done and my kingdom come’ and start praying ‘Thy will be done and Thy kingdom come’ and then He can carry you places you could never go on your own.”

“There is the God we want, and the God there is… they are not often the same.”

In four short weeks, this brief excursion of reading, Jonah with Jason, we will utilize a small guidebook, “Jonah, Running Alongside God,” composed by a team of Schweitzer writers in 2015. Pastor Jason will lead the discussion from 12:00-12:40pm on Tuesdays, starting May 5.

Jane Roebke, Colette Freeman, and David Freeman are making videos (Posted in a Youtube playlist as they are made) about parenting, then hosting weekly virtual meetings after the kids are in bed for you to ask questions about the video(s), have opportunity to talk through some of your challenges, and generally support one another in this challenging adventure called parenting. We start gathering at 7:50 p.m on Wednesdays, beginning May 13. The meeting starts at 8 p.m.
Study with Spencer through the book of James. Meeting virtually every Wednesday in May from 12:00-1:00pm.
How did we get here? Much like John Wesley (founder of Methodism), Bob & Jim didn’t begin as Methodists. We began to follow Jesus and here is where God led us. God formed our faith, what is it made of? In our 6-week online journey together on Wednesdays, starting May 13, 7:00-8:00pm, we’ll explore Wesley’s story and ours. The book, John Wesley: Holiness of Heart & Life, will serve as a source.
