At Christmas, we say God is with us. But what about when it feels like he isn’t? How is God with us when we go through the storms, valleys, and deserts of life? This series will look at the promise of God to be with us no matter what. Join us this Sunday at 8:20, 9:40 or 11:00.

Eight Life Change Plan participants and three Coach House ladies graduated Faith and Finance this week and established a spending plan, while beginning to have confidence in saving and rebuilding their credit. Congratulations, graduates!

Ladies, join us for a Women’s Christmas Tea and Silent Auction on Saturday, December 7, at 10:30 a.m. in Memorial Hall. (Ages 10 and up are welcome.) All proceeds will go towards bringing hope to the women and families at Harmony House. Tickets are $10. Register at Deadline to register is November 30.

Come celebrate Christmas with a pasta lunch and a performance by the Schweitzer Puppet Ministry of The Little Shepherd puppet show on Sunday, December 8, 12:00-1:30 p.m., in our gym.

Schweitzer Chancel Choir with orchestra will celebrate the meaning of Christmas through music on December 15. Join us during the 8:20, 9:40, or 11:00 worship service in the Sanctuary, as we praise God for bringing us from our darkness into the light through Jesus’ birth. Read more here.

We will be gathering toys for Crosslines as we share the joy of the holidays with families who are not able to afford gifts for their children. Pick up a star on December 1 or 8 from the windows as you enter the sanctuary or around the sound booth in the Outreach Center. Purchase the age-appropriate toy listed on the star and bring your UNWRAPPED toy to our Christmas tree in the Fellowship Center NO LATER than December 15. Thank you for sharing the joy!

Poinsettias have been ordered to add to the beauty in the Sanctuary this Christmas. We invite you to purchase poinsettias in memory or honor of a loved one. The cost is $12. Cards are located in the pews or you may email Mary Beth, [email protected]. Deadline to order is December 11. Poinsettias can be picked up after the 8:00 p.m. service on December 24.

We want to be sure that Schweitzer is offering a warm welcome to everyone who enters our doors on Christmas Eve. This year we will be offering three worship services: 4:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., and 8:00 p.m.. Childcare will be provided for children, 3 and under, during the 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. services. If you would be willing to serve as a greeter, usher, or communion server on Christmas Eve, contact Sheila Pippin at [email protected].
