Every church is different. Congregations have their unique DNA. Schweitzer is known as a church of Community Impact, Caring Hearts, All Generations, Engaging Worship and Deeper Discipleship. We believe that God has placed in our hearts to pursue these five attributes with passion and excellence. We are excited to tell the stories of people’s lives being transformed through all that is occurring. Join us in worship, check out the stories on our website and in social media and join us in God’s good work. Be Part of This!

Generosity Sunday

You are invited to be part of God’s family at Schweitzer. Please prayerfully complete your giving plan for 2019 on a commitment card and bring it with you to worship this Sunday, November 11. There will be a special time in worship for you to consecrate your giving to God. You may also make your commitment at or mail by November 18. Thanks for being a part of God’s family, thanks for being a part of Schweitzer Church!

Our first Puerto Rico Mission Team—Ruth Fels, Sheila Bowen, John Jones, Mike Roebke, Allen Robbins, and Jeff Fugitt—will be leaving on November 10 and returning on November 16. Please join us in praying for safe and efficient traveling, good health for each team member, spiritual vitality to minister as the presence of Christ, openness to receive God’s work, perception of the Spirit’s voice, skill & wisdom to carry out work assignments, and for joy, patience and compassion.

Schweitzer’s Annual Church Conference

Schweitzer’s Annual Church Conference is Monday evening, November 12, 7:00 p.m. in Room 101-103 just inside Entrance B. Rev. Lynn Dyke, Ozarks District Superintendent, will lead us. All members of the church are voting members of the Conference and are invited to attend.
