Last Blast of Summer

In Announcements by Schweitzer UMC

We’re wrapping up summer with a HUGE celebration on Schweitzer’s campus – cheering on kids going back to school.

Grab friends and family and join us for our outdoor Last Blast of Summer on Wednesday, August 11, from 5-8 pm. This will be held OUTSIDE in the Schweitzer parking lot in between the Sanctuary and Outreach Center Buildings.

We’ll have inflatables, a tie-dye t-shirt station, food, balloon animals, entertainment, drawings for prizes, face painting, a photo booth, and lots of SWAG!  There’s something for all ages and everyone is welcome to attend!

Here’s how you can be part of this great event!
1) Bring Friends & Have Fun
2) Bring School Supplies as part of our donation drive for nearby schools

For questions contact Sheila Pippin. Masks are recommended for safety and for those who are unvaccinated.

Schweitzer is located at 2747 E Sunshine, Springfield.

You will want to enter the parking lot from west entrance by Panera or Meadowview Ave (by Aldi); the middle entrance will be blocked.
